MPPT solar charge controller 80A Flex-Max 80
MPPT solar charge controller for increased performance requirement
-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------
With the OutBack Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) PV charge controllers FM 80, you can use your solar power system from best possible. The MX-MPPT charge controllers have a continuous output current of up to 80 A. They can be used for battery systems from 12 up to 60 V and solar generators are used with an open-circuit voltage up to 150V.
The charge controller can be set for virtually all types of batteries and charging methods. They allow the use of a higher solar generator voltage to a lower voltage battery. So one can load a 24V battery with a 48V solar generator. The cable cross-sections and losses between the solar generator and the site of the controller can be reduced and the efficiency of the solar power system.
With the FM80 and FM60 the voltage maximum power point (MPP) is always higher than the battery voltage, even if the modules are hot, or if the battery voltage is to be raised for a gasing.
The FM80 and FM60 are equipped with an easy-to-use and easy-to-understand operating unit, with a four-line illuminated display with four buttons. At the FM80/60, the remote control OutBack MATE can be connected. It can be installed at a distance of up to 300 m from the charge controller. Up to 4 or 10 FMX80/60 can be controlled so that (over the distributions Hub4 or HUB10).
The remote control MATE also provides an RS232 interface for recording and monitoring the data to a PC ready. The FM80/60 has a potential-free relay output.
